Dr. Cohn was raised in the Texas Hill Country and graduated Valedictorian from Medina High School in 2002. He graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Biology in 2005. He next completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX before deciding on a career in ophthalmology. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health & Science Center at San Antonio. Finally, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University Health & Science Center. He was named Chief Resident and won awards for best Grand Rounds Presenter and highest board examination scores. He also received the 2017 Physician Champion Award from Hill Country Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Cohn is a board certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who does everything from routine eye examinations and basic contact lens fitting to a variety of ophthalmic surgeries and lasers.
Dr. Cohn is on the board of directors of Harvester Seeds Foundation, an organization dedicated to serving the underprivileged across the globe. Projects include serving in orphanages, building churches and schools, and performing eye surgeries internationally.
Dr. Cohn lives in Comfort with his wife and 3 daughters who attend school in Fredericksburg. He enjoys watching and playing sports, fishing, hunting, time with family, and is active at his church.
